At Last

The white paleness of her lips
seemed to effortlessly blend with the background,
she shivered hugging her fragile self to her body full of the absence of her heat.
She knew to go inside but she wanted to see the beautiful scenery just outside her foggy window.
Looking at the white ground, white trees, white houses, it gave her the feeling of warmth despite the freezing temperatures.
She sat down forcing her to hug herself even stronger, she was starving for this. White silence. Away from everyone all the while she is surrounded by everyone.
She sees the sky but hears no voices, recognizing only the vast blue span of freedom.
Yes, of course this is why she stayed outside, to be in bliss at last for her body could not handle much more.
